Hello people and Toonami faithfuls and welcome to Week 24 of the Toonami Liveblog. Late Happy Flag Day to the United States, as TOM said, adopted the flag in 1775. Although it's been 200 years since the Star-Spangled Banner. Also, Happy Father's Day to all of y'all and hope you celebrate it with your dad. Also it's the World Cup! So yeah, here's the recap...
This episode of Attack on Titan...is borderline depressing, not the episode, the mood. People don't want to fight, some died, and one person just committed suicide...one of the graphic scenes I just saw.
Mikasa saw Armin's crying and talking on the names of the lost means that...Mikasa, Eren dead. But however, Mikasa is not upset after hearing and head off, but before that, she told everyone that..."everyone's a coward, you weak, I'm strong, goodbye, peace!" If there's a poster of Mikasa acting like Rosie the Riveter, this episode would be the perfect shot for this. Oh wait, there is.
However, it went from badass to grief all thanks to gas shortage in her tank and finally gave up hope. If it weren't for that Titan that saves Mikasa from getting eaten by that other Titan, she should have been killed.
Who is that Titan? He seems kinda familiar? But...spoilers. This Titan, beating up the other TItans...is that even allowed? Anyway that Titan is a badass, first he punched and stomped that Titan, then beat the Titan's head off. Literally, he took out the Titan's head off! Right through the building.
This week's episode of Bleach shows one thing and one thing only, Is This Attack on TItan?
Ichigo's training began this week with a stuffed pig named Mr. Pork. Cause apparently training can't get any cuter.
The problem is that Ichigo got 15 minutes to beat the pig using his Fullbring that people kept talking about. However, good luck with that. Sad news is that you had 15 minutes to beat the pig in its normal state and yes I said normal, because after that, Piggy just took a trip to the Steroid Train.
We got the info about Chad, Riruka, and Giriko's Fullbring. Chad's Fullbring is Pride, Riruka's Fullbring is Love, and Giriko's Fullbring is Time. Which according to Giriko, you cannot get Ichigo out of training, that's against the laws of time. Who wrote this stuff?
Still with the Iron Sand, huh Sasori? Let's just say, Geometry is EVIL! Sasori had his game up while using the Killer Shapes on Sakura but still managed to dodge the attack, and punch the shapes away, even if it means destroying the cave.
We got a flashback of Sakura training with Tsunade about not about Medical Stuff, but also how to toughen up. Here's the picture...
...Sorry, that's from the Spin-Off that no one wants to talk about. Yeah...don't talk about it. Of course there was Clone Wars Fighting and Chasing Bird ate Dead Friend Trap Thing, but the main point in this episode is Sakura, message to the Sakura haters out there...
Episode ends with Sakura punching the crap out of the Third Kazekage Puppet, breaking the puppet in pieces. But Sakura, we need the Iron Sand for this week's Blue Exorcis...wait, Sasori dipped the Iron Sand in Poison? Okay, on second thought, we don't need it anymore.
Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing...the long nose guerrilla tactic, the masked figure...Sniper King!!!! And look, he has his own theme song.
Well, that's enough theme song action for today, time to save Robin! Snaji, Franky, and Sniper King (i.e. Usopp) went into the train and beat up the Marines, and fool them to pass them from each cart just to save Robin from getting into Enies Lobby.
Boy, did we fooled them or what? They managed to beat the Marines in Carts 5 and 6. Until Cart 4, which is the kitchen, and we have a crazy chef, not letting them pass. Well, look like we're entering another battle in this arc as Sanji face off against Chef Boy he is crazy. And we also saw Paulie and the gang saw Nami getting dressed. And Paulie was upset on this? You saw it, your fault for seeing it.
Guess we don't need Sasori's Iron Sand anymore because the sword is fixed. However, there was disorder in the court with Amaimon crashing in. By the way, Worst Hot Potato Game Ever!
With thanks to Mephisto, Rin gets special training, and by training, I mean you got Six Months to get strong or we'll kill you. Rin managed to beat Amaimon, but the day after, no one wants to be friends with Rin anyomre due to being Satan's Son. Apparently, it's a curse. So Rin is heading towards the batting cages, for candle training while Yukio and Shura made a wager shooting and batting balls. And thanks to Rin's Blue Flames, Look like the Fangirls and Fanboys got their fanservice.
Also in this episode, who invited the Fear Feaster, wrong show dude.
So the episode ends with Izumo giving Rin confidence, of course thanking him from saving both her and Noriko. How's Noriko been doing after she left the show? We'll never know. The episode really ends with Izumo and Rin about to fight the Fear Feaster. Again, who invited him?!
