Review: #AdventureTime Season 6, Episode 7: Ghibli on Crack while working on a Biology Project6/13/2014 Something tells me that this episode just took the acid train once again, not since "A Glitch is a Glitch." Let's just say... ...Yeah...don't talk about it. Anyway, welcome to my spolierific review of "Food Chain," the Seventh Episode of the Sixth Season of Adventure Time and it's straight up Biology lesson...mixed with Acid or LSD or whatever the animators used. So yeah, let's get into the review. You can see in this episode, the animation changed from it's original. That's because the episode was animated by Maasaki Yuasa, from another animation studio. The animation for this episode is quite settling but threw in the quires that was thrown in from "A Glitch is a Glitch," and the trip begins. So yeah, props to Yuasa. The topic of the biology term "Food Chain" was the main subject in this episode, of course due to the fact that some of the people hate Biology. I think it goes by order: From Plant, to Small Bird, to Big Bird, to Bacteria. And the cycle goes on, without an end of this. We meet a little caterpillar named Erin, with an "I," a nice little bug that Caterpillar Finn have a crush on, met when Finn and Jake turned into bugs following the food chain logic. She was first dying due to sunlight, then came the leaf, which saves her. But, 9 minutes into the episode already we got a wedding? The song at the end talking about the Food Chain shows a recap of what we have such saw earlier in the episode and...it was pretty weird, too much colors, the animation is way crazy, but that's Adventure Time for you, making Education fun since...sadly when this episode aired. And look it won't be an episode without an Easter Egg hiding. Magic Man is in this episode, following Finn and Jake then turned them into Birds, turned Finn into Big Bird, turned Finn and Jake into plants and caterpillars, then come back to normal. Is there something I forgot? Oh yeah, I heard there was a possible "Food Chain" opening with that animation, however when this episode aired on TV, it didn't show it. So I'm guessing that opening got axed? Reaction/ThoughtsWhat do I think about this episode? What should I think about this episode? Although I like this animation in this episode, this is "A Glitch is a Glitch" all over again. Seriously... But um...I guess that's it about this episode. First episode that we get Finn his full arm back from the last episode. And I thought this episode was suppose to be filler, but it's not thanks to Breezy giving Finn his arm back. I give this episode... 8 out of 10But anyway, next week, Big Money, Big Problems sends Finn and Jake to the Wildberry Kingdom with the Eighth Episode of the Sixth Season, "Furniture & Meat."
