The Severe Weather Outbreak isn't the only one that is trending this week, there is another event that is happening. Donald Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, is under fire over a racial recording because of an Instagram photo of Stiviano with former NBA star, Magic Johnson. TMZ broke the story on April 25 over a recording of Sterling blabbing on Racial Discrimination after the photo was posted and don't want to bring Johnson to his games. Which spells Racial Discrimination. And Sterling is under fire because of it. Unless you forgot Sterling, this isn't the 1950s. Anyway, when the audio broke out, everyone in social media and the sports world is upset and outraged because of this. People were upset and want Sterling out of commission of ownership of the LA Clippers NBA Team. The Clippers are in the playoff spot, and when the audio broke out and the protests and news broke in, the entire team boycotted to play in one of their playoff matches with standing in the middle of the court and throwing away their shirts. They even had to wear their jerseys backwards. Donald's racial comment led to an outrage to the NAACP and Americans out there, it even outrage sportscasters and NBA players, old, current, and new. Here what LA Clippers Coach and Former NBA Players say about the issue. People's Reaction to this EventFormer Laker and NBA All Star Magic Johnson said, "Sterling needs to be FORCED out of the NBA." Former Celtic and NBA All Star Shaquielle O'Neal said, "If I had a vote, I'd kick Sterling out of the NBA." And LA Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said, "The whole team is PISSED about Donald." Within a week, the NBA commissioner held a press conference and Sterling is banned for life. For a 80 year old owner of an NBA team in the City of Angels, discrimination is not allowed in this court. The Clippers is still in playoffs against the Golden State Warriors with a 3-2 win over them with Game 7 underway on May 1, 2014.
