The Atlantic has finally awake after weeks of being inactive following Claudette in July. And now, Invest 96-L has finally came up to it's senses.
Picture
Say hello to Tropical Depression #4. The National Hurricane Center has issued the 11:00am Advisory for the newly formed system and sooner or later today, it will get a name, "Danny".
Picture
Projected Path shows that it's strengthening later today into tomorrow as a Tropical Storm, but by the time the Weekend comes, it projected into a Hurricane. On Friday, Danny will become a Category 1, and by Sunday, a Category 2 storm with 100 mph winds, meaning a threat to the Lesser Antilles.

T.D. Four isn't the only game in town when it comes to the tropics, we still have Goni (Filipino name "Ineng") and Atsani, twin typhoons, equivalent to a Major Hurricane.
Picture
Typhoon Goni (Ineng) downgraded into a Cat. 3 Typhoon, was the strongest of the two, but now, it's Atsani that is the strongest of the two.
Picture
Projected Path for Goni (Ineng) shows that it will hit Taiwan, putting the country to misery yet again following Soudelor two weeks ago. Projected to gain strength to a Category 4 Typhoon as it head towards Taiwan. Then downgraded into a Cat. 2 storm as it head towards China. Atsani at the other hand, projected into a 140 knots (160 mph) Super Typhoon, so I converted via Google. Atsani could be a major threat to Japan.

Besides T.D. Four, Goni (Ineng), and Atsani, Hawaii is now in the spotlight because of an area of invest in the Central Pacific.

It has a 50% Chance to Develop into a Tropical System in the Next 48 Hours. And will it become a threat to Hawaii. Checking out on the Models from Weather Underground...

...one model has projected that the system of invest will heading towards Hawaii. So that's something to look out. However, other models projected to stay away from the Big Island and head west, to the International Date Line.
