Winter Storm Pax has brought numerous amounts of Snow, Rain, Sleet, and Ice in the Deep South. It's deja vu for the region that was hit by another storm, Winter Storm Leon. And though it's different from Leon, which causes Georgia highways to shut down. Cars stranded, people stuck in the cold. It's like the planet Hoth, except it's not that brutal, and no Tauntans. Atlanta Highway Comparison: Leon vs. PaxThe State of Georgia and the Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal, are now well prepared after what they learned from a difficult challenge with Winter Storm Leon. With Pax, schools are closed before the storm hits, curfews issued, Storm Crews roaming around clearing snow and ice. However, the state just lost power, and utility companies are working to restore power. However, if you live in Charlotte, Raleigh, North Carolina, traffic is horrible when the storm hit. Charlotte faces what Atlanta has just faced weeks ago. It's a mess in the South right now. Well at least the South will heal up, right? After Winter Storm Pax hit the South, an earthquake just happened. At 10:23pm Eastern Time, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit just north of Augusta, Georgia. There were some damage, but don't know. South Carolina has not so much common with earthquakes, not since the Charleston Earthquake of '86, 1886 to be in tact.
