Well...this is a unexpected surprise coming from the heads of Toonami during Anime Expo 2016 in Los Angeles. So, it's official, the hype-o-meter has raised the roof after hearing the announcement that One Punch Man will be joining the Toonami lineup on July 16th.
That's right, we're not making this one up, One Punch Man is coming to Toonami later this month. The hit 2015 anime that rocked the community will be joining the block, replacing Samurai Champloo, but once July 16 rolls in, it will be in the Midnight eastern time slot, meaning that both Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans and the 2011 version of Hunter X Hunter have to move to a later time. So by the time One Punch Man comes in, no more samurai shows for awhile, and yes, I said awhile because we, in the Toonami fandom, have to wait for Samurai Jack to come back. And speaking of Samurai Jack...
Yep, we got a behind the scenes look for the new season of Samurai Jack, with the show's creator, Genndy Tartakovsky, who also did Dexter's Laboratory and the 2003 adaptation of Star Wars: Clone Wars, commentating on the production. And I gotta say, for the new season of the hit Cartoon Network series that stopped after four seasons, this isn't the 2000s childhood that is kid friendly anymore. Yes, the new season will be bloody and gory, that is fit for the people who grew up in the early 2000s who are now in or out of high school, in or out of college, or in or out of work. So, can't wait to see that and I guess everyone's on board. Also on Toonami news, the Intruder lives.
Yes, after 8 months since the events of Intruder II took place, which, spoiler alert, died in the explosion which causes TOM and SARA to escape the Absolution to a building in a planet where we are in for 2016, the Intruder decides to fuck around once more. Don't know if it's going to be the same intruder, which in molecule form, or maybe some backup. I don't know, sometimes my theories can be going nowhere or downhill all the way to the Earth's mantle. All I know is that eight months after the last Intruder is long enough to be prepared for the very worse for one of the two...robot and computer A.I. So...Fall 2016, here we go. So until then, it's One Punch Man that we're focusing on. So, is anyone clear?
Good, so tell me what you think about this announcement? Are you gonna watch the Dubbed Version of One Punch Man? Do you think the dub will be good to live up to the hype? Are you excited for the new season of Samurai Jack and/or the Third Intruder event later this year? Tell me what you think in the comments below?

When I heard that One Punch Man was coming to Toonami, and in English no less, I was immediately pumped. It's a great anime, with good amount of humor and action. Now I don't know if the dub will live up to the hype, since I don't really care all that much about dubs or subs when watching anime. But from what I heard from the Toonami promo for it, the voice acting in it sounds pretty good. So if I had to make a prediction based on what I've heard so far, I think it just might live up to the hype.
