While i'm surprisingly on Hiatus, things erupt in the Atlantic. We now got trough both Fernand and Gabrielle
But look closely at the names chart, no Red Colored Font on any of the names, the Red Colored Font means that we have a hurricane...but there's none. 7 Named Storms and no Hurricane in the Atlantic. If we can make it trough September 10th without a Hurricane...that's a record, a new record.
the last season without a hurricane is...actually...that's a first. Look at the Pacific...
12 Named Storms, 6 Hurricanes, and 0 Major Hurricanes. The Most Recent is Lorena.
The 8pm Advisory shows that it weaken a little into a 40 mph storm, moving NW at 9 mph. And it's West Northwest of Cabo San Lucas.

Also, it's September, you know, busiest month of the Hurricane Season.
